Anxiety

It had been a good day. Her loved ones were alright. She had worked hard at what she loved. Even her caramel latte had been perfect at the cafe. Still, she went to bed and her mind began to race. This race had no clear finish line. As her heart throbbed, she visualised every worst case scenario. Death and dying. Hopelessness. Sleep was forgotten. Anxiety had taken over.
