Introverts in Love

It was a different kind of love. Not like the one most girls grew up dreaming about. There was commitment. There was loyalty. But above all, there was the mutual understanding that each partner cherished his or her solitude. She was known to disappear into other worlds with her books and manuscripts while he took similar pleasure in his culinary pursuits. Today, she was taking her protagonist on a walk through New York City as he attended a workshop run by a Michelin starred restaurant chef. It was all good even though the outsiders thought they should be spending more time together. The most concerned neighbours were divorced by this odd couple’s first anniversary date.
