A Writer in the Coffee Shop

Blueberry muffin and coffee for company. Silence around the small coffee shop. It was every writer’s bliss. Even the guy at the next table seemed engrossed in a book. A quiet bookworm — she approved. It was a productive afternoon until she noticed that he was reading one of her books!

  1. Interesting you say silence in the coffee shop was ‘every writer’s bliss’. I go to a specific coffee shop four or five times a week to write for an hour because it is noisy! We’re all different, aren’t we?

    1. Most writers I know can’t write with noise around them. A little quiet conversation is another thing, of course.
