Inside Outside

The darkness inside was a sharp contrast to the sunny sky outside. She did her thing, running on auto pilot. It wasn’t hard to fake a smile or two. People never bothered her much because they knew she was an introvert. But when she heard laughter, the ugly thoughts made her heart churn painfully. But she was a good actress. Nobody could tell that she was drowning.
