Pink and Blue

She didn’t like dolls or Barbies. They weren’t as cool as those remote control cars that her brother had. So she asked her parents for one. They gave her a bright pink car. She hated it. The next day her parents found her playing with her brother’s blue one instead. Plus, he seemed happy with her pink one.

  1. Ah, I can relate to this. I hated dolls and had a blue dodgem-type car. Funny thing is, when older I never really wanted to learn to dive. I did thought, and have kept a doll of my mother’s. We humans can be funny folk.

    1. Yes, we humans go through so many changes in preferences, habits, emotions. Funny how a few deep things remain constant…
