Looking how she Felt

It wasn’t a pretty reflection. Yet, she had been proud of it just a month ago. “But you don’t look different,” her friends would say. They were wrong. She looked terrible. Her eyes were not the same anymore. They had lost their shine and the friendly twinkle that had made her the most popular girl wherever she went. And her mouth… it had lost its shape. From a beautiful upside down rainbow of emotions to a sad, plain line. Yes, the mirror couldn’t hide her heart.
